Australian Moto GP Details
While there is plenty of off-track attractions such as the Heroes Walk, fans won’t want to miss a minute of the on-track action. The track action gets underway straight up at 9am on the Friday with a day of practice sessions for all three classes up until 4pm. Practice continues from 8.40am Saturday before the qualifying sessions start at 10.50am and continue through to 2.30pm. Then at 3pm the race action starts with the 13 lap sprint race in the top class.
Sunday is reserved for the race action after a 9.40am warm-up session for the top class. Then it’s the Moto 3 race at 11am, followed by Moto 2 at 12.15pm, and the main event at 2pm – the 27 lap top class race to crown the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix champion for 2024.

Tickets are on sale with 1, 2 and 3 day passes and options for general admission and grandstand and add-ons such as camp sites. Some of the site options are already sold out, so get in fast to secure your tickets. Options include the Island Pass, The Clubhouse, Grandstand and Trackside Club.

For those wanted an elevated experience, consider the hospitality options available. Businesses may be interested in booking a suite to entertain guests, while serious fans may consider the High Octane Club, Champions Club and the VIP options.
In addition to what is offered by organisers, look into what may be available through individual manufacturers. Yamaha has hospitality packages advertised but be quick. It’s a big month for the brand with their anniversary celebrations and new model launch, so interest in all things Yamaha is sure to be strong.

Accommodation and Travel
The classic way to fully immerse in the Phillp Island Grand Prix experience is to camp on site. These opportunities are limited and must be booked when purchasing tickets. If camping on the island is not your style, there are many styles of accommodation available with places to stay at Phillip Island, in San Remo and in the Bass Coast region, with links on the event website.
For those staying off-site, there are a number of available options to get to the track each day. A coach service is available with a number of pick-up points, the fast ferry runs to the island from Stoney Point and Cowes, travel by air and arrive VIP-style in a chartered helicopter, or travel by car or bike by road.
